How to transfer or close an account in the event of a death

We are sorry for your loss. We understand this can be a difficult time for you, we are here to help you manage the service changes.

Pentanet has two options to choose from when you need to notify us in the event of a customer’s death.

  • You can visit the Australian Death Notification Services (ADNS) website, which will digitally notify multiple organisations of someone's passing.

    Once you fill out the online form the information is then passed on to the selected organisations who will then guide you through the next steps to close your account.

    This is only applicable if a death certificate has been issued in Australia.

  • Alternatively, you can fill out our Bereavement Support Form and return via:

    • Post to:

       Box 7028, Cloisters Square PO WA 6850.

Once you have completed the notification process with ADNS or via the Bereavement Support Form our team will contact you within 10 business days to confirm the closure of the account and if any equipment needs to be returned or collected.
