Right now, we don’t currently offer any email services - our focus is on delivering high quality internet services with no costly frills or add-ons. In the future, we may offer a SMTP relay service or mailboxes, though, and if this is something you’d like to see, please drop us a line via our live chat and let us know!
In the meantime, we recommend that customers looking for a SMTP relay for outbound mail use a 3rd party service such as Sendgrid (which offers a free trial and generous free daily limits).
To set up Sendgrid with your scanner (or other device), sign up for a free account at https://sendgrid.com/pricing/ and then generate a new ‘API key’ from https://app.sendgrid.com/settings/api_keys. Note down the generated key as it will only be shown once.
Next, configure your device to send emails using the SMTP address smtp.sendgrid.net
, with username apikey
and the API key as your password. SendGrid accepts TLS connections on ports 587 and SSL on port 465.
