Congratulations - you’ve got a new place 👍🏻 Now let’s get your new internet up and running so you can browse, stream and play online to your heart’s content!
To help us install your new connection as quickly and easily as possible, we will need to see a document showing your ‘proof of occupancy’. This document will allow Pentanet the authorisation we need to disconnect an existing service, and get your internet up and running.
You can send this information to us as soon as you’re ready to move into your new place, so we can prevent any delay in your new connection.
What is acceptable proof of occupancy?
Acceptable proof of occupancy is a formal document that includes both your name and your new address. Examples that we accept include:
- Contract of sale
- Lease contract or rental agreement
- A letter from your real estate agent with a copy of your bond receipt or rent receipt
- Statutory declaration from the property owner with your bond receipt or rent receipt
- Statutory declaration from you with a copy of your utility bill
These documents must cite your name, new address, settlement date (or commencement date if a lease) and have a signatory.
If your name is different to your account details please include a statutory declaration or marriage certificate.
Once you have a document that meets these requirements, please send it to our team at support@pentanet.com.au. As always, if you have any questions, queries or concerns - call us on (08) 9466 2670 and we’ll chat with you through the process.
